The Bible

The Bible is God's Word. It is accurate, authoritative and applicable to our everyday lives.

The Trinity

We believe in one eternal God who is Creator of all things. He exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. The Lord Jesus Christ is both God and man and is the only one who can reconcile us to God.

The Fall of Man & the Gift of Salvation

Sin has separated each of us from God and His purpose for our lives. However, by repenting of sin and placing full trust in Jesus Christ alone, not relying on personal works or righteousness, God graciously saves sinners from the wrath they deserve.

The Church & its Mission

Jesus came to seek and save the lost and we have been called to do the same. We believe God has individually equipped us and corporately gathered us as His living body so that we can successfully achieve His purpose for our lives, which is to worship God, strengthen the Church, and share the Gospel. In order to live the holy, fruitful, and power-filled lives God intends for us, we need to be baptized in water, set our mind on Him and His purpose, and be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit.

The Ordinances of the Church

Jesus instituted two ordinances for the church that continue today -- Water Baptism and Communion (also known as the Lord's Supper).

• Water Baptism - After repenting of sin and receiving Christ's gift of salvation, the next step for a person is to publicly declare their faith and demonstrate their commitment to the Lord Jesus through baptism in water by immersion.

• Communion - The Lord's Supper is a symbolic remembrance of Christ's suffering and death for our salvation involving eating bread and drinking juice. We regularly partake of Communion to remember what Jesus has done for us and to give Him thanks.

Eternity

We believe the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back again as He promised and will rule and reign on this earth. History will conclude as the wicked are judged and the righteous enter a new heaven and a new earth.
